Terms and Conditions of Use

UNDER SECTION 26(1) OF THE IMMIGRATION ACT 1971 FOREIGN NATIONALS FROM CERTAIN COUNTRIES ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER WITH THE POLICE

You must register with the Police if you are from one of the following countries or you are Stateless: 
Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, North Korea, Oman, Palestine, Peru, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen.

FAILURE TO REGISTER WITHIN THE TIME SPECIFIED, WITHOUT REASONABLE EXCUSE, WHEN REQUIRED TO DO SO IS AN OFFENCE UNDER SECTION 26(1) (f) OF THE IMMIGRATION ACT 1971.

We may terminate your right to access and use this Website immediately in any event that we believe you have breached any of these terms and conditions.

You accept that we have the right to change the content or technical specifications of any aspect of this Website at any time at our sole discretion. You further accept that such changes may result in you being unable to access the Website.

Privacy Information

West Yorkshire Police is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. The following shows how we treat your personal information.

In registering your personal information on this Website, West Yorkshire Police will store the information provided by you for a seven year period from the date of the Foreign Nationals last appointment before being subject to a review for deletion. If the data is linked to certain Public Protection Matters the information can be retained until the Foreign Nationals reaches 100 years of age, with review taking place every 10 years. The onward disclosure of any personal information held by West Yorkshire Police to external organisations or individuals will only take place where it is proportionate and lawful to do so.

We do count visits to our website but this is simply to record the number of 'hits' and does not record personal information. We will not we sell, trade, rent or otherwise disclose your details to others in these circumstances.

We do currently employ cookies as they are necessary to enable the efficient functioning of the website. However, we do not attempt to monitor the browsing behaviour of individual users through any hidden means.

As a word of caution, children under 13 years of age should not provide any information to any website without the consent of a parent or carer.

  3. Information accuracy
    1. There is a presumption on the part of West Yorkshire Police that users will submit their own personal information accurately
  4. Payments and Refunds
    1. Your payment will normally reach West Yorkshire Police bank account within two working days. We cannot accept any liability for delayed payments
    2. We cannot accept liability for payments being recorded on the wrong account if you supply inaccurate information, but will make every effort to reallocate any such payments if they arise
    3. We cannot accept liability if payment is refused or declined by your credit/debit card supplier for any reason
    4. If your card supplier declines payment, West Yorkshire Police is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account
    5. Refunds, if applicable, will be made to the debit/credit card used for the original transaction. Any refunds will be made in line with West Yorkshire Police anti-money laundering policy and procedures
